Wine Folly Features Sofos Greek Red

Madeline Puckette of Wine Folly was just named International Wine and Spirit Competition's Wine Communicator of the Year, an impressive honor. We were excited to see that in her announcement video on IGTV, she was celebrating with a bottle of Domaine Gioulis Sofos Greek Red! Madeline showcased the wine to talk about the native Greek grape Agiorgitiko, which makes up 50% of the Sofos red blend. Check out her video below to see her review this unique and affordable wine.

One of the first organic vineyards in Greece, Domaine Gioulis makes high quality organic wine in the province of Corinth, close to the valley of Nemea on the Peloponnese peninsula. A southern Mediterranean microclimate balanced by mountain breezes favors organic farming practices, and lends the wines a minerality and length that’s rare for hot-climate wines.
